1. Which app this page is about

This page is for practitioners who use the Remy Health app, the app for practitioners at practices that run on Remy. It is published by Armada Labs Studio Ltd, a company registered in England and Wales (company number 16782069) with its registered office at 45 Colebrooke Avenue, London, England, W13 8JZ, United Kingdom.

2. Why there is no delete button in the app

Your account comes from your practice. There is no sign-up in the app: your practice team creates your record and invites you to it, and Remy processes that record on the practice's behalf. So there is no delete button in the app either. Deleting your account is a request, not a tap, and this page explains how to make it.

3. How to request deletion

Either route works. You do not need to do both.

  1. Email us at privacy@remy.health from the email address on your account. Include your name and the name of your practice, and say that you want your account and personal data deleted. We may ask you to confirm your identity before acting, to protect your data.
  2. Ask your practice team. They can archive your record in Remy and pass your deletion request on to us. Archiving takes effect immediately: your login is removed from the record, your sign-in address is de-listed, and the app and the practitioner portal stop working for that account. Tell them at the same time that you want your personal data deleted, not only archived.

We respond within one month of receiving your request, as set out in our Privacy Policy. If a request is complex we may extend by up to two further months and will tell you if so.

If you only want to stop using the app, sign out from Profile and remove the app from your phone. Your record stays with the practice until you ask for it to be deleted.

4. What is deleted

Once your request is verified, we delete:

  • your login, so the app and the practitioner portal can no longer be used with your account;
  • your profile: name, photo, contact email addresses and phone numbers, address, date of birth, emergency contact and professional registration details;
  • your bank details held for practitioner payments;
  • your push notification tokens (device registrations) and notification preferences;
  • your chat messages with the practice team, including any attachments you sent;
  • the compliance documents you uploaded, such as DBS, insurance and training certificates.

5. What is kept, and for how long

Some records must be kept because the law requires the practice to keep them. These are held for the practice's own legal purposes, not for Remy's, and are limited to what the obligation needs:

  • Appointment records for the patients you treated. They form part of the patient's clinical record, which the practice must retain under its record-keeping obligations. Your name stays on them as the treating practitioner.
  • Billing and payment records, including the bills and payslips for work you delivered. Tax and accounting law requires these to be kept for 6 years.
  • A note that a compliance check was carried out (for example the date and outcome of a DBS check) where the practice's regulator requires it. The document itself is deleted.

Everything else is deleted. Account data is removed within 90 days of closure, as set out in the Privacy Policy, and backups expire on their normal cycle after that.

6. Contact

For anything else about your data, email privacy@remy.health or read Your rights. You also have the right to complain to the UK Information Commissioner's Office at ico.org.uk, though we would appreciate the chance to help first. For help with the app itself, see Support or email support@remy.health.
